Wipro wins biggest ever contract, over $1.5 billion
Indian software services exporter Wipro Ltd won its biggest-ever contract worth more than $1.5 billion with U.S.-based Alight Solutions LLC for digital services, the company said in a statement on Sunday. Wipro, one of India’s top IT firms, said it would earn $1.5-1.6 billion in revenues over the tenure of the deal, which will include services in health, human resources and finance for Illinois-based Alight Solutions. Sarà digitalizzata la più antica biblioteca del mondo
Sarà digitalizzato il patrimonio del monastero di Santa Caterina, custodito in quella che è considerata la più antica biblioteca del mondo ancora in attività. Le pergamene e i preziosi manoscritti saranno resi disponibili in modalità open access grazie a un accordo tra il monastero, la biblioteca della University of California in Los Angeles (Ucla), the Early Manuscripts Electronic Library e Arcadia Fund, un gruppo fliantropico britannico che si occupa della conservazione del patrimonio culturale e che ha messo a disposizione 980mila dollari.
