Intelligenza artificiale, fondo Google da 25 milioni per fini sociali
Scade il 22 gennaio il bando per partecipare ad AI Impact Challenge, che finanzierà progetti non-profit sull’uso benefico dell’intelligenza artificiale. Le organizzazioni riceveranno il supporto di esperti Google e potranno accedere a un fondo di 25 milioni di dollari. L’intelligenza artificiale permette un nuovo approccio ai problemi e offre nuove possibilità di migliorare la vita delle persone. A ottobre Google.org ha lanciato l’iniziativa rivolta alle organizzazioni non-profit, alle imprese sociali e alle università che vogliono usare l’intelligenza artificiale per risolvere le principali sfide sociali e ambientali del nostro tempo. Netflix forecast misses Wall Street view, shares dip
Netflix Inc forecast first-quarter revenue slightly below Wall Street estimates on Thursday, even after a record quarter for new customers, sending shares of the world’s largest streaming service down 4 percent in after-hours trading. Redpoint Ventures is raising another $400M to invest in Chinese companies
Redpoint Ventures is doubling down on China. The firm, headquartered in Menlo Park, has filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to raise $400 million across two new China-focused funds. The firm has set a $300 million target for its second flagship China fund, a significant increase from the $180 million it garnered for its debut China fund in 2016.
