Volkswagen to invest up to 4 billion euros in digital transformation
Volkswagen will invest up to 4 billion euros over the years to 2023 to digitalize its administration and production, the German carmaker said on Wednesday, adding that up to 4,000 jobs in non-production units could be cut. “At least 2,000 new jobs related to digitalization are to be created,” the Wolfsburg-based company said. SentinelOne raises $120M for its fully-autonomous, AI-based endpoint security solution
SentinelOne, which provides real-time endpoint protection on laptops, phones, containers, cloud services and most recently IoT devices on a network through a completely autonomous, AI-based platform, has raised $120 million in a Series D round — money that it will be using to continue expanding its current business as well as forge into new areas such as building more tools to automatically detect and patch software running on those endpoints, to keep them as secure as possible. Microsoft, il primo store europeo aprirà a Londra
Microsoft ha annunciato che il prossimo 11 luglio aprirà il suo primo store fisico in Europa a Londra, all’incrocio tra Regent Street e Oxford Street. Il Microsoft Store coprirà quasi 6.700 metri quadrati su tre piani e sarà a poche porte di distanza dall’Apple Store di Regent Street. Microsoft prevede di includere videowall immersivi, un teatro comunitario, workshop, aree di formazione e persino un “centro assistenza” per il supporto tecnico. Il negozio metterà in mostra tutti i principali prodotti Microsoft, partendo dalla gamma Surface, passando alle console Xbox One e arrivando ai dispositivi Windows 10 di altri produttori.
